Enjoy views of Dinner Island and Jackson Beach, and easy access to San Juan Island. This location is a prime spot for whale watching; it's not uncommon to see Orcas passing by between the shoreline and the buoy during the season. Griffin Bay is also popular with boaters for seasonal fishing, crabbing, and shrimping. The area is popular for kayaking, allowing you to explore the bay's scenic beauty.
Please note that the shoreline directly adjacent to the buoy is private property. Access to the shore is available via Jackson Beach Park, using your dinghy, a short distance away.
