Case Inlet, Set Sail for a South Sound Treasure!
Tucked into the serene beauty of the South Sound, this hidden gem near Vaughn Bay is a boater’s dream. A symphony of marine life and sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains make it a picture-perfect location.
Tie up to the professionally installed screw anchor buoy rated for vessels up to 50’ LOA. You’ll find it just outside Vaughn Bay on the east side of Case Inlet. You cant miss the location (residence), especially if you’re a WSU fan.
There are a few buoys in a neat line centered on the residence, but the outermost one is the only one to use. Even at zero tide, you’ll still be floating happy in about 20 feet of water.
No beach access at this private residence or neighbors. However, the Vaughn Bay Spit (just a few hundred yards North) is a public beach accessed only by boats/tenders.
Need fuel or snacks? Fair Harbor Marina is just a quick hop across the bay, and the public dock in Allyn is another great pit stop for food, drinks, and stretching those sea legs.
And the sunsets? Absolute magic. Grab your favorite drink, kick back on your stern, and soak in the golden hour from your own little slice of nautical paradise.
Enjoy the ride! ⛵🌅🐬
