Hugh Taylor Birch State Park Public Floating Boat Dock And P

Located directly on the ICW and approximately 1,000’ north of Sunrise Boulevard, the 230’ public floating dock and boating pavilion was opened in June 2018 providing boaters direct access to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Built along a 1.2 mile 100 year old seawall, directly across from the anchorage at Sunrise Bay, the park offers restrooms, picnic tables, a visitor’s center, and is adjacent to Ft. Lauderdale water taxi stop #8. Visit the park web site below for a full list of amenities. The popular Ft. Lauderdale Canine/Dog Beach is located just .37 mile or 1,935’ walk through the park from the dock. The park is open daily from 8AM until sunset. Additional information specific to boaters use of this public dock has been requested from the Florida State Parks Department.
